Ryan Aung
Head Chair
Hi everyone,
My name is Ryan, and I am honored to serve as your Head Chair for ECOSOC at SEASAC MUN this year. I am currently a grade 10 student at ISY and have participated in three conferences as a delegate and two as a chair. My hope for this conference is that together we are able to create a environment where meaningful debates and fruitful discussions flourish. I have a keen interest in economics and am excited to explore this topic with you all in debate form in ECOSOC. I hope we can learn from one another and gain valuable insights throughout this conference. MUN has been passion of mine since I started. I’ve always been a natural debater whether it’s on the committee floor or during spirited arguments with my siblings! I look forward to witnessing engaging debates, seeing each of you grow, and making meaningful connections as we work together to improve our skills.
Wishing you all the best as you prepare for the conference. May the odds be ever in your favor!
Amane Shirakawa
Deputy Chair
Hi everyone!
My name is Amane, and I’m pleased to be your deputy chair along with Ryan for ECOSOC. I’m currently a Grade 11 student from the Canadian International School of Hong Kong, and I’m excited to chair for the first time at SEASACMUN having participated in last year’s iteration as a delegate. MUN has been an enjoyable part of my life so far, and it has helped me develop my interests and knowledge on international relations and history.
Outside of MUN, you can find me running, reading, or drawing if I’m not desperately finishing up math homework.
I hope to see insightful debate and discussion from everyone at this conference–see you all in Singapore!
